South Park - This 1940s war box was badly in need of some design attention. We found it with two living rooms, no dining room and two small bedrooms. After a very thoughtful design plan, we tore down the second living room and added another 300 sf creating an open concept great room that took advantage of the expansive back yard and canyon views. The living room that was original to the house was turned into a master bedroom ensuite with a beautifully appointed bath and walk in closet. While we updated the house to suit our modern tastes and lifestyles we retained the original character by continuing the plaster detailing, restoring the wood windows and doors and using compatible finishes so the transition from old to new is seamless.
